Benefits of Hiring an Arborist

Trees add value to your property and the health of your community. Beautiful, healthy trees are an investment with substantial returns in community and ecological benefits. Conversely, poorly maintained trees can be a significant liability, even a hazard. Tree work performed incorrectly not only poses a risk to the tree itself but also endangers the person performing the work. Tree work should only be performed by those trained and equipped to work safely and properly.

An arborist is a specialist in the art and science of caring for individual trees. An ISA Certified Arborist is trained to understand the needs of trees and provide the care and maintenance necessary to enhance a tree’s health, beauty, and structural soundness.

What an Arborist Can Do For You

ISA Certified Arborists help maintain the investment in your trees by providing a variety of services from planting, pruning, and removal to appraisals, expert witness, and emergency tree care. These are some of the concerns that our clients have and have expressed to us over the years:

  • Do you have a tree(s) on your property that you want to know more about?

  • Is a tree on your neighbor's property threatening your home or other infrastructure?

  • Are roots from a tree close to your home cracking your foundation?

  • Do you have a tree on your property that seems diseased?

Tree Assessments

We are now providing tree assessments based on your needs and budget. As part of each assessment, we can offer recommendations for tree pruning, removal, or other services described below. We also offer recommendations for larger-scale projects that would require a Licensed Timber Operator (LTO) or Registered Professional Forester (RPF).

Level 1 Assessments - Starting as Low as $100

This is a limited visual assessment that focuses on identifying trees with an imminent or probable likelihood of failure.

Level 2 Assessments - Starting as Low as $300

This is a detailed visual inspection of a tree(s) and its surroundings. Data will be collected to provide a more in-depth assessment than level 1. This level of assessment comes with a report.

Level 3 Assessments - Starting as Low as $500

This is an advanced assessment that is performed to provide detailed information about specific tree parts, defects, targets, or site conditions. This level of assessment comes with a report.
